SUMMARY:
Dotsure Ltd has a vacancy in their Marketing Department for a Brand Manager.

POSITION INFO:

A Brand Manager is responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a company''s target market. As the ''brand guardian'', brand managers maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications and may manage a portfolio of products. Someone who can lead and grow people around them, whilst still developing themselves for future roles!

Brand managers use customer and trend research to create strategies that will change how people perceive the brand. This can involve overseeing advertising, design and events. Brand managers are responsible for making sure that branding is consistent across advertising and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & deliver a coordinated integrated marketing plan that grows your own brand or portfolio
  • Ensure brand consistency across all identified client touchpoints
  • Corporate Identity roll-out
  • Brief and manage execution of campaigns
  • Strategically plan & manage brand image through Public Relations plans & protocols
  • Plan, manage & implement social media strategy
  • Plan, manage & implement gifting strategy

(inclusive of MOD, Client, PR & Soft Landings)

  • Strategic planning & execution of brand promises across all touch points
  • Ensure campaign monitoring and measuring records are set-up to assist with strategic analytical planning
  • Stakeholder & selected team member management
  • Provide effective management of business activities that have to do with its strategic and financial growth within the brand
  • Coordinate with other heads of departments, integrating objectives and ideas for organisational growth

Min requirements

  • Relevant Marketing Diploma
  • 3-5 years of professional Partner/Channel/Distributor marketing experience from strategy to execution in a highly driven digital environment 
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to work in an international virtual team with marketing, sales and product specialists and with business partners
  • Demonstrate wide and proven experience in the digital marketing mix and therefore are able to consult and advise partners on their marketing strategy and execution, to drive pipeline growth.

This position is permanent and will be based in the beautiful city of George, Western Cape.

The position will be filled in line with the Dotsure culture, values and Employment Equity policy and plan. Preference will be given to members of designated groups that are under-represented.
