Our client, a prominent player in the automotive sector, is looking for a dynamic Brand and Marketing Manager to spearhead their branding and marketing initiatives in Gauteng. This role is essential for shaping the brand’s identity and implementing marketing strategies that enhance market positioning and boost customer engagement.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's mission and market positioning in the automotive sector. Establish brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and representation across all platforms. Marketing Campaign Planning and Execution: Create and manage impactful marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels to promote the company's automotive products and services. Oversee marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize campaign impact and ROI. Digital Marketing and Social Media Management: Lead all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO\/SEM, social media, email marketing, and website management tailored for the automotive market. Analyze and optimize digital marketing performance to enhance brand visibility and engagement across online platforms. Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct market research to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and behaviors specific to the South African automotive market. Leverage consumer insights to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing messaging. Brand Awareness and Positioning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand awareness and establish the company as a leader in the automotive industry. Monitor competitor activities within the automotive sector and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. Partnerships and Sponsorships: Identify and foster strategic partnerships and sponsorships within the automotive industry that align with brand objectives. Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to promote the company's automotive brand and products. Content Creation and Management: Lead the production of high-quality content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and promotional materials focused on automotive themes. Ensure all content reflects the brand's tone and identity, enhancing audience engagement. Event Planning and Management: Organize and oversee brand events, product launches, and promotional activities to increase brand exposure and customer interaction in the automotive sector. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure events support sales initiatives and generate valuable leads. Public Relations (PR) and Media Relations: Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and public image in the automotive industry. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and industry influencers to secure press coverage and endorsements. Brand Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze brand performance through key metrics such as brand awareness, market share, and customer sentiment. Provide regular updates to senior management on brand health, campaign effectiveness, and future marketing strategies. Customer Engagement and Loyalty Programs: Design and implement customer loyalty programs and engagement strategies to foster long-term relationships and repeat business in the automotive market. Integrate customer feedback into the brand development process for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in brand management, marketing, or a related field, preferably within the automotive sector. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO\/SEM, social media, and content marketing. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
