POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Broker Consultant within the Fintech (Asset Management) industry. This role will focus on the relationship management and client deal facilitation of new US-based clients.

Responsibilities:

• Educating and advising new and existing clients on investment opportunities through multiple channels (no cold calling required)
• Work with global marketing divisions to qualify leads and assess fit
• Oversee the business development process; discovery, demos, solution creation, contract and negotiation
• Engage with portfolio managers and strategic economists on strategic and tactical asset allocations
• Facilitation of the growth of client products and investment opportunities
• Manage and nurture a pipeline of leads and close new business
• Increase assets through upselling, cross selling and managing churn
• Articulate product offering and offer support to clients
• Deliver value-add services via the client''s tools offering

Qualifications:

• Good understanding and experience with Unit Trusts
• Ability to learn and demonstrate industry and product knowledge by understanding the competition, the client and marketplace
• Strong experience with social media
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to demonstrate excitement and keep a client engaged while presenting company''s story and products
• BComm Finance or Investment Management or equivalent and RE1 / RE5 qualification preferred
• Willingness to work US hours (1pm-9pm CAT)
• Full training will be provided on the company''s investment products, portfolio analysis and construction tools
• Potential opportunity to relocate to the USA

The compensation structure will consist of a salary and commissions based of US assets under management
