Group Risk Employee Benefit Sales/Marketing experience with track record.

Experience in liaising with brokers in a sales and marketing capacity and arranging quote on the broker’s clients for their Employee Benefits (Risk, i.e. not investments) – includes benefits like:

CRITICAL ILLNESS

INCOME DISABILITY

ACCIDENTAL DEATH

FUNERAL

Position is in Rivonia

R18 000 – R25 000 depending on exp

• Preparing marketing material & product packs for marketing/sales meetings with brokers

• Maintaining as current various databases of brokers including:

o Current active brokers

o Prospect brokers

o Medical aid brokers per region

• Managing email campaigns to targeted brokers – including managing results; bounce backs; reporting on results to management and progressing
the campaign with follow ups – setting appointments where required

• Managing sms campaigns to targeted brokers - including managing results; bounce backs; reporting on results to management and progressing the
campaign with follow ups – setting appointments where required

• Correspondence to brokers according to set standard

• Furnishing correct product information to brokers

• Ensuring understanding of products and their application – knowing current versions and how to send the broker information out

• Gleaning a basic understanding of the FAIS legislation relevant to the position – what marketing and sales can do and cannot do and what needs to
be included in marketing material

• Power point presentation according to set standard – on products to various targets, e.g. brokers/company management

• Preparation of quotations for brokers – requires thorough understanding of employee benefits, rating, FCLs and underwriting

• Sourcing relevant pictures for marketing material – creative input

• Maintaining the company website – LIAISING WITH OUR Web Service provider to insert articles and adapting product information when changes
are necessary

• Ad hoc projects

Must be FAIS accredited – short-term and long-term Category B (long term risk insurance)
