JOB SUMMARY:
Established infrastructure company requires the services of a mid-level building / construction foreman

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise Workers
Ensure resources are adequate to complete project
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Proven experience as a building/ construction foreman (5-8 years)
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Problem-solving abilities
Matric and or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
Clear criminal record
Valid drivers'' licence
Own vehicle essential
Due to the nature of the contract, people living in and around the project will be considered.
