Building Planner

SUMMARY:
Our Client is a large building contracting company who is looking for a building Planner to join their dynamic team of professionals

POSITION INFO:

The primary job is to set up plans and programme''s,and identify, control and manage issues pertaining to the building programme including;

1.    Monitoring the current accepted programme in terms of issues affecting progress and delays.

2.     Collating information required for the formulation of claims in terms of the the contract.

3.     Attending commercial meetings and advising on the status of all applicable claims.

4.     Generating programmes demonstrating delays to the Client in a prescribed format.

5.     Maintaining registers of queries, site instructions and other contractual correspondence.

6.     Implementation of required resourcing into the relevant claim programmes.

7.      Be literate in terms of Primavera P6 Version 7.0 or CCS.

8.      Be literate in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

9.      Meet all requirements within the time frames required by the project and the management team.

10.    Be self-motivated to achieve required goals.

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary education.

10 years experience in planning on large building projects including hospitals, schools and retail.
