SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a driven and versatile Business Analyst to join their team in Faerie Glen, Pretoria. This is a key role in an Agile software development environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with both clients and development teams to ensure successful delivery of software projects.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

Must hold a BEng in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent/relevant degree/honours
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements and Analysis:

Write Software Specifications Documents
Do UML modeling and create flowcharts
Draw up User Requirements Specifications
Extract and document requirements from clients
Engage directly with clients to understand their needs

Project Ownership:

Take ownership of projects throughout the SDLC
Provide regular updates to clients
Conduct demos and manage feedback

Scrum Involvement:

Participate in weekly scrum meetings with developers
Track ticket progress and assist in sprint planning
Give and receive feedback during sprint cycles

New Business and Internal Reporting:

Engage with potential clients to gather requirements and assist in quoting
Provide status reports and progress feedback to directors
