POSITION INFO:
ENVIRONMENT: A global SharePoint Consultancy seeks the strong technical aptitude & commercial acumen of a Business Analyst who will serve as the bridge between clients and technical teams, gathering and documenting business requirements, creating work breakdown structures (WBS), and developing functional and technical specifications for projects. You will conduct client workshops, analyse business processes, and translate client needs into comprehensive technical solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 productivity tools. You will grow into a Technical Account Manager role where you will also manage client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and ensure project deliverables meet client expectations. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems\/Business Administration\/Computer Science, or related field with at least 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in a technical environment and strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 productivity suite including SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps. You also need to be familiar with Microsoft Copilot and AI-enhanced productivity tools.   DUTIES: Business Analysis - ·        Conduct client workshops and discovery sessions to gather and document business requirements. ·        Analyse client business processes and identify opportunities for productivity improvements. ·        Create detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) for accurate project planning and estimation. ·        Develop comprehensive functional specifications that clearly define project scope and deliverables. ·        Create technical specifications that translate business requirements into implementation details. ·        Document solution architecture and design decisions. ·        Validate requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. ·        Perform gap analysis between current state and desired future state.   Technical Knowledge & Application - ·        Apply deep understanding of Microsoft 365 productivity suite to design effective solutions. ·        Recommend appropriate technologies and approaches based on client requirements (SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, Copilot). ·        Stay current with Microsoft product updates and new features. ·        Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed solutions. ·        Collaborate with Developers to ensure technical specifications are correctly implemented. ·        Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. ·        Create solution demonstrations and proof of concepts for clients.   Client Relationship Management - ·        Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders at all levels. ·        Communicate effectively with clients to understand their business challenges and goals. ·        Translate technical concepts into business terms that clients can understand. ·        Present solutions and recommendations to clients professionally and persuasively. ·        Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle. ·        Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services and solutions. ·        Serve as a trusted advisor on productivity solutions and best practices.   Project Support - ·        Work closely with Project Managers to ensure deliverables meet requirements. ·        Support User Acceptance Testing and solution validation. ·        Create documentation for end-user training and knowledge transfer. ·        Participate in project status meetings and provide updates on requirements and specifications. ·        Assist in managing scope changes and their impact on project timelines and budgets. ·        Support project handovers to Support and Maintenance teams. ·        Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies.   REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications – ·        Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. ·        Microsoft Certifications are a plus (MS-600, PL-200, MS-900).   Experience\/Skills – ·        3+ Years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in a technical environment. ·        Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 productivity suite including SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps. ·        Experience creating work breakdown structures, functional specifications, and technical documentation. ·        Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and AI-enhanced productivity tools. ·        Proven ability to gather and analyse business requirements. ·        Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or professional services environment. ·        Strong understanding of business process analysis and improvement. ·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ·        Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. ·        Experience with workshop facilitation and requirements gathering techniques.   Preferred to haves – ·        Previous experience in a technical account management or client-facing technical role. ·        Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and delivery methodologies. ·        Experience with Project Management tools and techniques. ·        Knowledge of Business Analysis frameworks and best practices. ·        Experience with Agile\/Scrum methodologies. ·        Prior experience in IT consulting or professional services. ·        IIBA Certification (ECBA, CCBA, or CBAP) or equivalent.   ATTRIBUTES: ·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ·        Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. ·        Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality. ·        Proactive approach to identifying client needs and solutions. ·        Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. ·        Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. ·        Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment. ·        Customer-focused mindset with excellent client service orientation. ·        Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments. ·        Growth mindset with eagerness to learn and develop new skills. ·        Professional demeanour with executive presence when dealing with clients.
