SUMMARY:
Flexible Hours | First 6 Months In-Office, Then Hybrid My client, a prominent player in the secure payments and fintech space, is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join their team in Stellenbosch. This is a hybrid role (after the initial 6 months in-office) with flexible working hours.

POSITION INFO:

Please note: Experience in the fintech, payments, or digital financial services industry is non-negotiable for this role.

You will play a central role in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that guide the development of critical payment solutions. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Gather and document business, system, and reporting requirements
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories
Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, and procedures
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and groom the product backlog
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure deliverables meet business needs
Maintain BA documentation throughout project lifecycles
Continuously improve analysis frameworks, templates, and processes

✅ Minimum Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related discipline
5–8 years of proven experience in a Business Analyst role
Fintech, payments, or financial services industry experience is essential (non-negotiable)
Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Draw.io, Visio, and the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong documentation, process mapping, and analytical skills
Fluent in business English; additional languages are advantageous
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
