Join one of South Africa’s most respected financial institutions, known for its innovation, regulatory excellence, and commitment to data accuracy. This 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension) places you at the centre of a mission-critical IT3 Tax Reporting deliverable. You will work closely with Tax, Finance, Technology, and Axiom teams to ensure accurate regulatory data flow from CL-STRUCT into Axiom for SARS submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Elicit, document, and validate requirements for IT3 Tax Reporting (BRS, FS, data mapping).
Analyse CL-STRUCT source data and map required fields into Axiom templates.
Define data lineage and transformation rules for regulatory reporting outputs.
Facilitate workshops with Tax, Finance, Business, and IT stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers, integration specialists, and Axiom teams on ETL/interface requirements.
Support SIT and UAT cycles for IT3 reports, ensuring SARS compliance.
Track and resolve defects, providing structured updates through governance forums.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Taxation, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Experience:

5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
Strong background in tax or regulatory reporting projects.
IT3 Reporting or SARS compliance experience (advantageous).
Experience with CL-STRUCT or similar structured product systems (non-negotiable).
Strong data mapping, SQL and ETL/lineage verification capability.
Experience with Axiom or similar reporting platforms.

Skills:

Strong documentation ability across BRS, FS and data mapping packs.
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and BPMN.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to deliver under tight regulatory deadlines.

Non-Negotiables:

Financial services BA experience.
Tax/regulatory reporting exposure.
Strong data and systems analysis capability.
