The Role: Business Consultant This role exists to manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of wealth-sector Introducing Partners, principally wealth managers and independent financial advisors in the Western Cape. The main focus is serving as a trusted cross-border FX partner by handling referrals seamlessly from enquiry to trade, structuring tailored FX solutions, and selectively onboarding new partners. Key Responsibilities Possess 3 to 5 years of B2B relationship or sales experience, ideally in financial services or wealth management. Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of wealth-sector Introducing Partners across the Western Cape. Serve as the trusted FX point of contact for partners and their high-net-worth clients. Deepen relationships to maximize referral volume and quality while onboarding selected new partners. Guide partners and clients through onboarding, FICA \/ KYC, and trade readiness. Structure tailored FX solutions, including international payments, offshore transfers, spot, and forward cover, in line with SARB and SARS requirements. Maintain accurate CRM records and represent the business at wealth-sector events. About You 3 to 5 years of B2B relationship or sales experience, ideally in financial services or wealth management. Matric \/ Grade 12 qualification. Proven track record of retaining and growing partner relationships and meeting revenue targets. Strong relationship-management and consultative-selling skills with sound commercial judgement. High ethical standards and adherence to FSCA \/ FAIS and AML \/ KYC (FICA) requirements. Excellent communication and organisation skills with care for partner and client outcomes. Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Investment, or Commerce (advantageous). RE5 and FAIS compliance (preferred). Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (advantageous). Existing network within the Western Cape wealth-management \/ IFA community (advantageous). Understanding of SA exchange control (SARB, FinSurv) and offshore investment allowances (advantageous). Prior exposure to FX products and wealth \/ private-client environments (advantageous).
