POSITION INFO:
Role Overview:
They are looking for a driven and results-oriented Solar Business Developer to expand their client base and strengthen their presence in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be a natural relationship builder with strong commercial acumen, experience in business development/sales, and a passion for sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess industry trends.
Develop and present tailored solar energy solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in the renewable energy/solar industry is highly advantageous).
Strong network within the energy, property, or construction sectors preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets in a competitive market.
Commercial and financial understanding of solar/PV projects is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
