Business Developer – SETA 📍 EL Our client, a leading private higher education institution , is seeking experienced and results-driven Business Developers – SETA to join their expanding team across South Africa. If you are passionate about business development, corporate training, skills development, and building strategic partnerships, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career with a respected education provider. Key Responsibilities Generate new business opportunities within the corporate training and skills development sector. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, employers, and key stakeholders. Promote SETA-funded programmes, learnerships, short courses, and higher education offerings. Identify and secure new corporate partnerships. Engage with Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs), HR departments, and decision-makers. Conduct presentations, consultations, and information sessions. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline. Meet and exceed monthly business development and revenue targets. Attend networking events, industry conferences, and exhibitions. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports. Stay informed on SETA funding opportunities and industry developments. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Development or Corporate Sales. Experience within the Skills Development, Training, Learnership, Higher Education, or SETA environment . Proven track record of achieving business development and sales targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong relationship-building and networking abilities. Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport (preferred). Advantageous Previous experience working with SETAs. Experience selling corporate training or learning solutions. Knowledge of the Skills Development Act. Experience with Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs). Experience working with Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs). Learnership and apprenticeship implementation experience. Higher education or private education sector experience. Existing corporate network within HR, Learning & Development, or Skills Development.
