Business Development Specialist - Cape Town Carrick Athena Are you a confident communicator with a passion for engaging people and building relationships? Carrick - Athena is looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic Cape Town team. This opportunity forms part of Carrick - Athena , our women-led initiative focused on developing and empowering the next generation of talent within financial services. Duties & Responsibilities Proactively contact and engage with prospective clients Identify opportunities and assess client suitability for our services Book qualified appointments for our Private Wealth Managers Maintain accurate client records in line with compliance standards Support with diary management and general office coordination Work towards and exceed individual and team targets Attend team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development initiatives Professional Attributes Strong communication skills and a confident telephone etiquette Well-spoken, articulate, and professional Target-driven with a positive, resilient attitude Strong organisational and administrative skills Ability to work both independently and within a team Experience & Qualifications 2-3 years' work experience (sales or client-facing roles preferred) Previous experience in financial services (advantageous) Minimum requirement - Matric What We Offer A supportive, high-performance environment Ongoing training and development Exposure to the financial services and wealth management industry Opportunity to grow into a Private Wealth Manager role Why Join Carrick Wealth?
