POSITION INFO:

Location: Durban | Short-Term Insurance (Property & Automotive)

We’re looking for ambitious, driven individuals to join our growing sales team as New Business Development Consultants in the short-term insurance sector. If you have a passion for sales and are ready to take your career to the next level, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Source sufficient lead-generating opportunities to ensure a minimum of 10 client quotes per week (40/month).
Achieve a minimum of 8.5 written policies per month.
Maintain and update your Lead Generation Matrix weekly.
Conduct thorough needs analysis and offer professional advice once a quote is requested.
Sign up a minimum of 5 active lead referral agents.
Submit weekly performance reports, including leads, quotes, sales, lead sources, average premiums, and other relevant data.
Stay updated on MI product changes and compare with competitor offerings.
Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold ethical sales practices.
Maintain specialist knowledge to provide professional advice across relevant business areas.
Present yourself in a professional manner and maintain the required dress code.

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
Proven external sales experience (insurance experience is advantageous)
FAIS Beneficial
RE5 Benificial
Valid driver’s license
Reliable own vehicle

What We Offer:

Basic Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 p/m
Uncapped Commission
R350 Tech Allowance p/m
