    The Business Development Manager is accountable for an effective sales strategy that ensures the financial growth of the company by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. 

     

    Skills and Experience:

    Qualifications required:

    • Matric /Grade 12
    • Higher education qualification in business management or related

    Advantageous:

    • Certifications relating to Payroll and/or HC solutions 

    Experience required:

    • 5years+ experience in payroll administration or implementation related roles
    • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
    • 3 years+ experience in selling payroll solutions and services to small-medium and large corporates
    • A proven track record in meeting targets.
    • A proven track record in deals acquired.
    • Experience in customer support is a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
    • Market knowledge
    • Communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport
    Key Accountabilities:

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop a sales strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
    • Promote the companyâ??s products/services addressing or predicting clientsâ?? objectives
    • Prepare quotations and tender submission documentation
    • Provide accurate sales activity and progress reports to achieve sales targets 
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Build strong relationships within the business to generate effective sales leads 
    • Constantly find new ways / approaches to achieve against set targets
