Business Improvement Analyst

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Improvement Analyst to identify process improvement opportunities, optimise business operations, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will analyse business processes, develop operational solutions, create performance dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities Analyse, document, and improve business processes and workflows. Gather and interpret business requirements, translating them into operational solutions. Conduct workflow and business analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Develop process models, simulation models, and routing schedules. Recommend and implement process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. Monitor warehouse and transport utilisation, inventory levels, pallet control, and working capital. Perform process compliance audits and identify system deficiencies. Prepare reports, graphs, and presentations on business performance and improvement initiatives. Manage projects and coordinate testing of proposed solutions where required. Stay up to date with industry trends, health and safety standards, and food safety requirements. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 with Mathematics. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-3 years'' experience in a Business Analyst or Business Improvement role. Experience with delivery routing systems (OPSI\/PLATO preferred). Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports. Basic SQL knowledge. Understanding of data architecture and systems integration. Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Power BI. Microsoft Project. Great Plains. Plato and TMS routing software. Business process modelling and statistical analysis (advantageous). Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. High attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong project planning and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and within a team. Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset. Strong commitment to quality, integrity, and workplace safety.
