Are you a dynamic Occupational Health professional ready to lead, inspire and deliver exceptional client service? We’re seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee operations across multiple sites in Port Elizabeth and Kariega, driving excellence in occupational health service delivery while leading a diverse team of 20 professionals.
About the Role
As the
Business Manager, you’ll take accountability for overall service delivery and client relationship management within your region. You’ll champion operational efficiency, financial performance, and compliance while ensuring your teams deliver high-quality occupational health services that make a tangible impact on employee well-being and business outcomes.
This is a leadership role that requires both strategic oversight and a hands-on approach — ideal for a
manager of managers who thrives on developing people, managing complex operations, and achieving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team across multiple clinics and sites.
- Drive client satisfaction through proactive engagement, performance monitoring, and solution-driven service delivery.
- Oversee operational, financial, and administrative processes to ensure sustainability and growth.
- Manage client contracts, service level agreements, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare and present business reports to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing (essential)
- Certificates in Audiometry and Spirometry (essential)
- Valid SANC registration as an Occupational Health Practitioner (essential)
- Valid SASOHN registration (essential)
- Minimum 3 years in an Occupational Health managerial role
- Minimum 5 years total experience in an Occupational Health environment
- Valid driver’s licence and own insured vehicle (travel between sites required)
- Proven leadership of multi-site teams and client relationship management
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Additional qualifications in Dispensing, Safety & Risk, or Project Management will be an advantage
- Clear Criminal history and background verification checks
- Successful online assessment
