Business Support Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking a Business Support Specialist to join their team in Remotely. They offer stability, growth, competitive salary, exposure and an excellent working environment.

As a Business Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the FICO-PS system solution adheres to leading practice and aligns with the objectives of the One ERP functional solution and all other global IM Applications.

Requirements

WORK ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Alling IM, Business, and Functional strategies
  2. Follows the strategic direction set by Business Process Owner (BPC)
  3. Interact with BPC and Senior Management at a strategic level
  4. Responsible for providing the latest technologies and Solutions in the FICO PS domain
  5. Engage with functional Solution Leads and RPOs on continuous business improvement opportunities.
  6. Analyse business requirements, interpret and capture them in a technical systems requirements specification.
  7. Write functional specs, design, build, test enhancements to existing functionality
  8. Assist in the functional preparation of Business Process Procedures and Documents, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.
  9. Identify gaps in current global/ local business processes and ensure optimisation.
  10. Assist the local SAP Support Analysts (SSAs) – measure the SSAs’ effectiveness and facilitate any required training and support.
  11. Participate in regional governance structures.
  12. Review quality assurance activities for the functional area. i.e. regression testing, testing of change requests, and bug fix.
  13. Work with the regional stakeholders to understand local training requirements and design a training roadmap to ensure end-user proficiency standards.
  14. Work with the Business Lead to manage AGA requirements from Third Party non-SAP suppliers i.e. interfaces to the application.
  15. Work with the Global Access and GRC team to ensure process optimisation, regional “fit” and compliance with statutory requirements, legislative regulations, policies, work standards and governance requirements.

Qualifications

  1. Relevant technical/ IT Degree
  2. SAP FI/CO Certification

Knowledge and Experience

  1. At least 8 years of experience in SAP FI/CO/PS
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  3. Knowledge of accounting and finance business processes
  4. General knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules (especially as they impact/relate to FICO)
  5. In-depth understanding of the Finance landscape plus a functional understanding of Project Systems
  6. In-depth understanding of Banking in SAP especially Host to Host solutions
  7. Experience in architecture, system integration, and solution design
  8. Experience in global implementations and /or Support
  9. Knowledge and use of IT industry best practices
