SUMMARY:
Our client, manufacturers of Machinery seeking a Business Unit Manager to develop and implement branch plan and objectives and align with business objectives to be based in Kathu (NC)

POSITION INFO:

Business Unit Life Cycle Support Reports To Head of Life Cycle Support Purpose Effectively manage the branch, including asset- and cash management, sales, after market support, procurement and marketing of Hitachi in the branch area. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Business Management OR Operations Management Minimum Experience Mining equipment or mining industry Operational 7years; Managerial 3 years Physical & Legal Requirements Fitness for Duty Certificate No criminal record OHS Act, Sect. 16(2) Specific KPA Strategy Development and Implementation Develop and implement branch plan and objectives and align with business objectives as approved by the Company President. Increase and maintain market share in equipment sales. Review sales gross margins and selling expenses. Conduct regular meetings to discuss progress of set objectives and identify discrepancies. Branch Management Review sales gross margins and selling expenses. Ensure correct delivery documentation for warranty claims. Update sales progress report and submit to management. Ensure problem failure reports are logged. Report continued and re-occurring failures are reported to management. Manage company assets according to policies and procedures. Security Ensure security of branch. Arrange monthly meetings regarding security issues. Compile and submit report on findings. Inventory Management Review inventory management and reporting practices of branch store. Ensure parts price lists and manuals are updated for branch equipment. Ensure good housekeeping of stores.
