List the major duties and responsibilities of this job in order of importance.

The processing of requisitions

2. Invitation of quotations

3. Processing of orders prior to or after the receipt of goods and/or services

4. Follow-up on outstanding orders and; any other related Supply ChainManagement functions required in terms of the Supply Chain Management policies and regulations.

5. Monitor the performance of the suppliers in terms of the various aspects of Supply Chain Management such as the receipt of goods and/or services, receipt and issue of store items to end users

6. Ensure collection of goods by end users

7. Timely processing of invoices for payment of goods and/or survives

8. Ensure timely payment of invoices by regularly following up on progress of payments and compliance to specifications, deliveries to the premises and

9. Ensure that payments are finalized for all orders processed and submitted for payment.

Qualification & Scientific status required:

 Qualifications : Three-year Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management specifically in Sourcing and Supply Management, Purchasing Management, Logistics Management, Stock and Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Logistics Management or directly related field of study with modules such as Purchasing, Logistics, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationships included.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:

 List experience/knowledge/skills required for this position

 Knowledge, skills and experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word at least at Intermediate level

 Report writing skills

 Knowledge, experience and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) and related legislation

 Good verbal and written communication skills in English
