An exciting position for a C++ Developer has landed for a very wwell-knownclient of ours in the petroleum industry.

Job Description:
Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Producing documentation and manuals and perform code reviews
Implementing performance and quality modules and software testing
Consultation with internal stakeholders to define the scope of software development initiatives
Deployment and troubleshooting of software
Creating software and supervising application deployment across platforms
Sharing of knowledge and improving the effectiveness of the team
Assisting with maintaining code quality, organization and automization
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C++ code

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a development capacity.
Networking/VPN/Routing background is required
MySQL or any other database
Excellent proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
Familiarity with continuous integration
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN and Mercurial
Advantageous skills would be: PHP Development, Linux proficiency and Client server knowledge
Ability to work independently and also as a team member

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or proven experience-based equivalent
