My client who is based in the North of Johannesburg is looking for talented developers to join their development team as a team leader. The team lead will be responsible for the creation of software solutions on windows as well as web platforms. This will involve the design, programming and usage of database tools. The role will involve liaising with business users in order to determine the requirements; writing well designed and efficient code; designing and writing test cases; migrating applications; conducting post implementation monitoring as well as completing and maintaining relevant documentation. A very important function of the team leader’s role will be to consult with team members and stakeholders regarding the technical design and implementation of solutions.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BSC or B-Tech IT related degree

Microsoft development certifications  (MCTS) will be advantageous

.Net framework 3.5/4.0/4.5, LAMP (Zend or other applicable framework)

3 – 4 Years development experience in C #/.Net  experience using LAMP technologies

MS SQL/My SQL experience

3-5 years Visual Studio  experience

Other IDE experience such as Eclipse, InteliJ will be beneficial

Technologies: C#, C++ or C, PHP/Wordpress, HTML, CSS, XML, SQL, Javascript, JSon, JQuery, WPF, Linq, Rest Services, Ajax, MVC, SOAP and Silverlight

Databases: Oracle 9i/10, SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008, 2012), Access/MDB, SQL queries, MySQL5
