C# Solutions Architect

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a C# Solutions Architect to join their team. This role is suited to a highly experienced technical professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements and robust, scalable software architecture. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping technical direction, guiding development teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, maintainable solutions across projects.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Analyse and define functional and non-functional requirements for software solutions Design deployment architecture aligned with performance, scalability, and longevity requirements Evaluate technical trade-offs, including client budget, complexity, and future maintainability Assess and align the required skill sets for both the development and long-term support of solutions Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges, providing hands-on guidance where required Lead technical decision-making across development teams and projects Conduct code reviews tailored to project standards and individual developer capability Establish, maintain, and evolve technical standards and best practices Continuously refine development and delivery processes to improve quality and efficiency Provide expert input on effort estimates and technical feasibility Mentor junior and intermediate developers, supporting skills development and knowledge transfer Contribute to performance management and technical recruitment processes Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposals, and estimations Support marketing initiatives through technical writing, presentations, and research Requirements: BSc in Computer Science or a related tertiary qualification Strong object-oriented programming skills Extensive experience in software architecture and system design Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS Proven experience with WPF and WCF Solid understanding of enterprise application design and integration patterns Experience with code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership Ability to evaluate and balance technical and business constraints effectively Advantageous: Microsoft certification(s) Active contributions to public repositories such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Stack Overflow If you are a seasoned C# Architect who enjoys solving complex technical problems and shaping scalable enterprise solutions, we would love to hear from you.
