Key Responsibilities:- Analyse and define functional and non-functional requirements for software solutions
- Design deployment architecture aligned with performance, scalability, and longevity requirements
- Evaluate technical trade-offs, including client budget, complexity, and future maintainability
- Assess and align the required skill sets for both the development and long-term support of solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges, providing hands-on guidance where required
- Lead technical decision-making across development teams and projects
- Conduct code reviews tailored to project standards and individual developer capability
- Establish, maintain, and evolve technical standards and best practices
- Continuously refine development and delivery processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Provide expert input on effort estimates and technical feasibility
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers, supporting skills development and knowledge transfer
- Contribute to performance management and technical recruitment processes
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design, proposals, and estimations
- Support marketing initiatives through technical writing, presentations, and research
Requirements:- BSc in Computer Science or a related tertiary qualification
- Strong object-oriented programming skills
- Extensive experience in software architecture and system design
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
- Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Proven experience with WPF and WCF
- Solid understanding of enterprise application design and integration patterns
- Experience with code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership
- Ability to evaluate and balance technical and business constraints effectively
Advantageous:- Microsoft certification(s)
- Active contributions to public repositories such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Stack Overflow
