SUMMARY:
CA (SA) CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY, KZN MIDLANDS.

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a stable Employer in the Manufacturing/ Forestry industry is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for their KZN Midlands Operation.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• At minimum a (CA)SA or CFA or Equivalent qualification.
• At least 5-10 years in a CFO or Senior Financial Managerial experience is essential.
• Having held a position, in the forestry industry, or a manufacturing environment will prove to be a distinct advantage.
• Possess a track record of developing and implementing financial processes and internal controls.
• Possess effective people management skills.
• Be adept at evaluating financial viability and forecasting performance as well as presenting such reports to top management and directors.
• Have intensive knowledge of and experience with working with accounting software Xero, Pastel or Accpac.
• Have a strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, general finance, and budgeting.
• Have experience in Supply Chain Management including logistics (import and export).
• Have excellent communication skills – verbal & written.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Have Multitasking skills.
• Be able to demonstrate accurate working ability and numeric calculations.
• Sound interpersonal skills.
• Highly developed problem-solving skills.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibility for managing the financial functions of the company, including planning and tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analysing the company''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s financial strengths and weaknesses.
