CAD Engineer- Designer

Well known International EPC company has an opportunity for expat candidates on their project based in Russia

POSITION INFO:

Only Expat Cadidates will be considdered for this role

Functions

Perform technical tasks related to the 2D model (intelligent P and IDs) design and development
Interface with Technical manager and other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman
Assist and Co-ordinate the 2D model technical activities
Ensure the capitalization of the projects experience
Evaluate the skills of the technical personnel involved in the 2D model development
Identify the actions required for the projects efficiency and efficacy improvement

Tasks

A - 2D models technology know how understanding and acquisition. Commercial support in new products scouting
B - Bidding phase / Commercial proposal development
Assist the bidder team, by the bidder documentation analysis, in th e proper software applications choice, both graphics
(non intelligent) and intelligent and in the cost estimation
C - Project Execution
Produce Project specifications, both for graphic and for the 2D model applications
Configu re, develop and maintainance Reference DataBase (RDB)
Control 2D model quality
Set up reports: line list, off sheet connections list, instrumentation list, quality check reports, etc.
Assign and manage the project human resources involved in all the CAD activities
D - Construction and Start up
Set up and update commissioning 2D model
E - Home office activities (master seniority only)
Projects coordination: provide input to discipline leads to harmonize the 2D documents design and production and the
project management methodologies
Scout new tools and applications
Provide support to projects to solve non standards problems
Define the department work flow and its technical standards
Participate to the company work flow modifications and technical standardization
Produce Saipem 2D models standardization
Collect projects feed back for continuous improvement implementation (Lesson Learned)
Participate to the vendors and outsourcers qualification
Control and manage outsourcing engineering centers planning
