SUMMARY:
CA(SA) Financial Manager (IFRS & Compliance) - R65 000 p/m - Kempton Park, JHB
POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a technically strong Financial Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and tax oversight within a structured, Head Office reporting environment of an expanding courier entity.
This role is suited to a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a compliance-focused, governance-led environment and is confident engaging with auditors and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review VAT returns and oversee corporate tax compliance
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS across all financial reporting
- Assess and implement IFRS updates and accounting policy changes
- Compile and submit accurate reports to Head Office within deadlines
- Reconcile VAT control and tax-related accounts
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and supporting documentation
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Support and expand internal audit processes and controls
- Identify control weaknesses and implement improvements
- Provide technical guidance to the finance team
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification
- 2 - 5 years relevant practical experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Exposure to group or Head Office reporting structures
- Proven experience in tax (VAT & corporate) and compliance
- Experience dealing with auditors and regulatory requirements
