Employer Description Our client is a property development company with operations in South Africa & Zimbabwe Job Description You Will: Manage and oversee day-to-day site operations and construction activities. Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards and timelines. Develop, implement and monitor project programmes. Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, plant and other site resources. Monitor project progress and report on site activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation and site records. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders. Assist with resolving technical and operational issues on site Qualifications Relevant National Diploma, BTech or degree in Construction Management, Building Science or Civil Engineering. Skills 10+ years' construction experience, with a strong track record in site management. Proven experience as a Site Agent on high end \/ luxury new-build residential projects is essential. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building processes and site management. Experience managing subcontractors, labour, materials and plant. Strong programme and progress monitoring skills. Good understanding of QA\/QC, health and safety and snag management. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and documentation. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities. Must be highly organised, hands-on and able to take full responsibility for site delivery.
