CFO

SUMMARY:
Have you been working in a big corporate and would like a change of scenery? This organisation requires an experienced CA(SA) with an entrepreneurial flare. You will work closely with the Directors and add value from both a strategic and operational perspective.

POSITION INFO:

Daily cashflow review and payment planning to ensure continued operations and optimal cash management

Weekly reporting to shareholders on sales against forecast

Weekly reporting to sales team on key account sales

Monthly management accounts – generate report, review, and propose adjustments to FM, finalise report and generate CFO commentary for circulation

Updated sales pipeline forecast, with CEO, including review of sales pricing and costing inputs per variant

Periodic update of costing model

Review of monthly merchandising report and approve invoices in line with contracts

Review and sign off of payroll reports

Annual audit management

Landlord communications and lease management

Preparation and review of file ahead of audits in collaboration with consultants and FM

Employment Equity reporting, engagement with authorities and external consultants

Review of supplier / customer agreements

Review and approval of loan agreements

SARS submissions – review and approval of monthly VAT and PAYE returns, submission of provisional tax returns, income tax returns

Strategic decision-making including staffing, capex, IT systems etc.

CIPC submissions for changes in directors etc. as well as annual returns

Skills & Experience:

Experience in the FMCG / Retail / Distribution industries (Advantageous)

Strong technical skills

High EQ

Qualification:

CA(SA)
