Job Description

Your roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to: Anti-poaching patrols along fences and throughout reserves, Monitoring the health and well-being of wildlife, Conservation research and species monitoring, Enforcing hunting and fishing license regulations, Game capture and reintroductions, Population management, maintaining infrastructure, Controlled burns and invasive species removal, Enforcing reserve rules such as driving speeds, Environmental education and community engagement, Resource planning and administration.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Diploma in Nature Conservation
• FGASA Lvl 1
• PDP
• Fire arm License

Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience gained as a Game Ranger. Firearm competency and registration. PDP. Excellent communication skills. Management experience. Nature conservation diploma. FGASA Certified. K9 handling experience. Knowledge of conservation legislation.
