POSITION INFO:

Qualifications & Experience

• LLB and Admitted Attorney
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the insurance or legal industry

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervising the general administration, registering and processing of claims against the Fidelity Fund
• Analyzing the validity of claims and making recommendations to the Legal Manager
• Interpretation of relevant legislation and provision of legal opinions to the Board
• Report writing and management of compliance of claims with legislation
• Staff supervision
• Stakeholder liaison and interaction with legal representatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

• Superior knowledge of principles of insurance law
• Proven experience in analyzing insurance-related claims in the insurance of legal industry
• Excellent drafting skills
• Effective analytical skills
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of packages

• Proven ability to deal with complexity
