POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced CLINIC SISTER-IN-CHARGE for a large concern, position based in the Wartburg area, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing. Registered with South African Nursing Counsel (SANC)!

Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

Competent computer literacy (MS Office, Email / Internet). Kronos System advantageous!

5+ yrs management experience (clinic and/or hospital management).

Manage the administrative and operational activities of the primary health care and occupational health care within the clinic to ensure a quality, legally, compliant, efficient, and effective service delivery.

Manage employee healthcare needs in the occupational health environment within the scope of professional ethical norms.

Conduct all statutory pre-employment, periodic and exit medical exams and prepare fitness for work certificates.

Manage prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of work-related illnesses and injury within the business.

Identify and refer employees in need of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Perform specific screening tests and other identified examinations for the identification of potential occupational diseases and injuries, including but not limited to, audiometry, spirometer, vision screening and biological monitoring.

Develop and oversee financial budgets and forecasts with support from Finance Business Partner.

Enhance the management of pharmacy drug inventory through implementing Group minimum standards.

Develop, implement, and evaluate a site-specific health evaluation program in accordance with the available occupational hygiene survey.

Provide a primary health service to eligible employees, their dependents, and registered contractors.

Compile statistics and reports in align with clinic compliance.

Administration of documentation relating to the compensation for occupational injuries and diseases.
