SUMMARY:
To deliver key maintenance planning and work management support for fixed plant and mobile equipment efficiency and availability.
Utilizes specialist master data/SAP experience to lead and manage CMMS deployment of maintenance strategies.
The client is site-based (Mining operations) - so the ability to travel to the site, not only remote support.
POSITION INFO:
Strong communicator, able to liaise with the client, build relationships and build a knowledge base of each clients'' business, organization, and objectives
Liaise closely with Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure plans align with resources
Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Assume responsibility for the deployment, operation and control of the CMMS.
- Analyse, optimise and deliver SAP / CMMS solutions.
- Manage the CMMS including development of work orders, reports, schedules and forecasts.
- Provide CMMS support, guidance and training to team members and personnel as required.
Produce maintenance KPI''s as required.
Work Management
- Plan, schedule and coordinate all maintenance activities as well as resourcing and contractor management, CMMS management, AMP and cost reporting.
- Assist with development of overhaul/shutdown schedules.
- Perform Work/Task scoping including scope development, scope review improvement, risk assessment involvement and contractor engagement in scoping activities.
- Engage with and manage Contractors including estimating, quoting jobs, creation and management of purchase orders and receipting.
- Ensure job packs contain the required documentation and information to enable maintenance technicians to safely, efficiently and accurately execute the work.
- Ensure routine and critical spares are available for planned work.
Maintain all records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.
Education: Graduate diploma in Maintenance Management
Qualified tradesperson or equivalent
Skills and knowledge:
- Well-developed written and oral skills.
- Exceptional ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Experienced with fixed plant and mobile equipment maintenance.
- Specialist / Superuser experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems.
- Advanced level of computer skills utilizing MS office suite.
Excellent process and configuration skills with a sound background in SAP supporting tools
