JOB SUMMARY:
Well known and large engineering and manufacturing company based in Vanderbijlpark has a vacancy for a CNC Lathe Machinist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
Qualified and Trade Tested Artisan
Minimum 5 years related / relevant experience
Mastercam is essential
Able to read and interpret technical / engineering drawings
Able to machine at tight tolerances +- 0.01mm

Duties & Responsibilities:
Setting the machine to extremely tight tolerances.
Programming and operating the machine by making use of Fanuc & Siemens controls.
Programming offline using Mastercam.
Read & interpolate intricate technical drawings.
Machine spares & rotating equipment to a high level of accuracy + - 0.01mm
Use a variety of measuring equipment.
Work comfortably with a wide range of materials.
Determine tooling for different operations.
Machining to refurbish, repair and newly manufactured equipment.
