JOB SUMMARY:
A leading manufacturing and engineering company based in Alrode, Alberton on the East Rand has a vacancy for a CNC Lathe Programmer (Edgecam / Fusion360) / (Qualified Turner)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Trade Tested Turner / Fitter & Turner - Not negotiable
CNC Lathe programming experience - Not negotiable (will be tested)
Edgecam and / or Fusion360 - Not negotiable
Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Turner in a factory / manufacturing environment - Not negotiable
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Must have thorough understanding of tools (inserts, toolholders, drills etc.) including measuring equipment
Must be able to operate overhead crane and / or forklift - Not negotiable
Good communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

CNC Programming (Edgecam / Fusion360)
Precision machining on Lathe and / or Milling machines
Fitting & Turning
Soldering and brazing tools
Machining jigs, nests etc.
Willing to work overtime and shifts when required
