CNC Machinist

SUMMARY:
A defence company in Centurion is seeking a CNC Operator.

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components in accordance with engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes, and mills) safely and efficiently
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Monitor the machine operations and adjust settings as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with tolerances
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and tooling
• Basic Math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Optional: Relevant certifications or technical qualifications
