CNC Supervisor

SUMMARY:
A client based in Germiston is looking for a CNC Supervisor to oversee, monitor, assess and be involved in overall section activities with regard to floor operations

POSITION INFO:
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience as a CNC Supervisor or CNC Foreman
Qualifications linked to setting / programming of CNC machines
Experience with CNC machines (lathes and milling), use of Fanuc and Siemens controls
Understanding of production manufacturing an advantage
Ability to use measuring equipment (vernier, height gauge, bore gauge, micrometre)

Primary duties / responsibilities
Oversee daily production activities and 8 personnel
Inspection of parts to ensure conformance
Co-ordinating activities and movements of products
Providing feedback to manager ( including on scrap and maintenance requirements )
Managing consumbales and provided feedback to manager timeously on stock levels
Housekeeping
Ensure daily queries are attended to and problem solving when needed

Secondary duties / responsibilities
Assist during periods of increased activity or when personnel are taking leave
Be involved with special projects and/or sensitive products that require additional attention (for instance on product development that may occur).
