POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- 2+ Years' post article experience in Corporate and Commercial law practice
- LLB Degree
- Additional legal qualifications advantageous
- Must be an admitted attorney
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements (including NDAs, term sheets, sale agreements, shareholders' agreements and MOIs) and commercial property transactions
- Conducting and managing due diligence investigations
- Coordinating and managing the closing process of M&A transactions
- Drafting authorising resolutions and legal opinions and other closing documents
- Advising clients on corporate governance matters, including board duties and responsibilities, shareholder rights, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior professionals and support staff
- M&A experience is essential
- Strong communication skills
- Strong commercial drafting skills
- Attention to detail
- Good commercial sense and interpersonal skills
- Must be well-organised and conscientious
