Role Purpose

Develop, implement and maintain an integrated communication strategy and plan, through consistent and engaging messaging that enhances the brand, engages clients and supports business strategy

Responsibilities and work outputs

ï‚· Develop an integrated communications strategy that supports the marketing, social media and brand strategy
of the business through integrated practices, and supports the overall business strategy.
ï‚· In conjunction with the marketing team, plan and manage the, content development and production of all
campaigns, marketing materials and marketing collateral, in support of the brand and marketing strategy and
plans.
ï‚· Coordinate and liaise with other relevant marketing and communications functions to align strategy and plans
and drive one brand message and collaboration within the broader business.
ï‚· Align the communication strategy to support products, launches, events and promotions
ï‚· Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to manage the implementation of marketing initiatives, through
defining the target audience, various stakeholders and appropriate messaging
ï‚· Design, manage and implement a PR, external and internal communications strategy and implementation
plan.
ï‚· Responsible for ensuring that all communications aligns with the brand’s communication standards, including
structure, creativity, plain language, tone of voice, style and terminology.
ï‚· Assess existing collateral and communications in terms of value add and quality, as well as implement
improvements where required.

ï‚· Influence the use of communication systems and tools and investigate and implement alternatives where
feasible.
ï‚· Liaise with relevant agencies in the production and delivery of communication material.

ï‚· Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
ï‚· Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
ï‚· Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
ï‚· Make recommendations to improvement of client service within area of responsibility.
ï‚· Participate and contribute to a culture which build rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides
exceptional client service.

Finance 

ï‚· In conjunction with the Marketing Manager ensure that communication projects are delivered within budget
ï‚· Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate
forum.

Experience and Qualifications

ï‚· 5-7 years experience in Communication, Marketing or Brand Management (essential)
Experience within the financial services industry, specifically short-term insurance (desirable)
ï‚· Content writing experience for all media platforms (digital, direct communication and creative marketing)
ï‚· Qualification: A Degree in Communications, Marketing, Languages or related qualification
