A leading legal firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Conveyancer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong, structured, process-driven approach to property transfer and registration matters

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full end-to-end conveyancing process, including property transfers, bond registrations, cancellations, and related transactions
• Ensure all documentation is accurately prepared, verified, and lodged within required timeframes
• Liaise with banks, estate agents, municipalities, deeds offices, and clients throughout the transfer process
• Oversee and drive multiple simultaneous transactions in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Ensure strict compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirements
• Identify and resolve transactional issues efficiently to avoid delays
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of files
• Implement and follow structured processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times
• Provide guidance and oversight where required to junior staff or support teams

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• LLB degree (Bachelor of Laws)
• Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
• Registration as a Conveyancer with the Legal Practice Council (LPC)
• Senior-level experience as a Conveyancer with a strong track record in property transfers
• Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong process-driven mindset with excellent attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of conveyancing procedures, Deeds Office processes, and property law
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and compliance
