POSITION INFO:
A prestigious and well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer & Notary Public to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional who is passionate about property law, delivers exceptional client service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage residential and commercial property transfers from instruction through to registration. Attend to drafting, execution, and registration of notarial deeds and other notarial matters. Handle bond registrations and cancellations where required. Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, the Deeds Office, and relevant authorities. Provide expert legal advice on conveyancing and notarial matters. Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements. Mentor and provide guidance to junior conveyancing staff where necessary. Minimum Requirements Admitted Attorney Admitted Conveyancer and Notary Public. Minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience in conveyancing and notarial practice Extensive knowledge of South African property law and conveyancing procedures Experience handling a high-volume conveyancing portfolio independently Strong drafting, communication, and client relationship management skills Proficient in conveyancing software and Microsoft Office.
