COST ACCOUNTANT (MPUMULANGA)

Key Result Areas:

• Financial processing & reporting

o Operation cost control & allocation;
o Preparing operational cost budgets;
o Cost reporting for operations;
o Asset register control;
o Operation purchasing & pricing control;
o Month end process;
o Work close with operations management and staff;
o Support to plant management and Financial Department.
• Stock Management
o Implementation and control of spare inventory management system;
o Manage inventory;
o Ensure that Stock levels are adequate;
o Manage, control and organise inventory counts;
o Stock value control;
o General Housekeeping of warehouses;

• Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff members.

Knowledge/Education Requirement:

• Grade 12 / Matric with accounting as a subject;
• Degree in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting;
• Post graduate qualification may be advantageous.

Experience and requirements:

• 5 - 8 Years working experience in a similar field;
• Experience in cost management;
• Experience in spares inventory control;
• Must be an action orientated person.
