POSITION INFO:
Employer Description A commercial builder specializing in workplace and residential building and upgrades Job Description Reporting into the Site Agent, the successful GF \/ Construction Supervisor, will be responsible for: Supervising and coordinating final finishes and façade installation activities on site. Closing up ceilings following sign-off of in-ceiling services and verify ceiling heights and setting out against approved shop drawings. Verifying floor boxes, floor drains, drywalling, floor build-ups and other finishing requirements. Overseeing the installation of flooring, wall finishes and specialised ceilings. Ensuring façade installations are completed according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards. Coordinating with subcontractors and other trades to ensure work is completed according to programme. Conducting quality inspections and ensuring defects and outstanding works are identified and rectified. Preparing rooms and completed areas for final handover. Qualifications Relevant Building trade qualification Skills Min. 5 years' experience on building projects as a Foreman or Supervisor (handling Facades or Finishes) Experience working in Africa beneficial Salary\/Package Negotiable Benefits Accomodation Meals Living out allowance Transport to Harare
