CROP/ LIVECTOCK / MAINTENANCE MANAGER

SUMMARY:
Colenso / Ladysmith area – KZN: Our client seeks to employ a general manager who has the necessary experience in cropping, livestock with a strong maintenance ability to his team

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
• Min of 5 years previous farm management experience

 

Experience in the following 3 points essential

1. Cropping (all aspects) – maize, soyabean, wheat
2. Livestock (all management aspect to beef)
3. Maintenance orientated
4. Proven ability working with irrigation systems

 

Code 10 driver’s license

Ability to speak Zulu

Ability to operate tractors and all farm related equipment

Familiar with John Deere equipment computer operations, highly advantageous

Previous buffalo breeding experience advantageous
