Employer Description This company specializes in electrical equipment and components Job Description Your responsibilities will be the following: Updating of procedures and other relevant documentation towards improved cost estimation and tendering maturity level and ISO compliance. Enforce disciplined administration within Sales and Contracts team. Provide input to the tender portfolio master schedule. Complete documentation from tender initiation to contract award and hand over to the Project Office. Attend Site Meeting with customers to promote the Company and seek business opportunities by providing solutions. Managing the enquiry and tendering process to ensure the best technical, commercial and contractual solutions are offered to the client. Obtaining technical solutions and specifications from Engineering Department. Obtaining estimates of production and bought-out costs, engineering man-hours, etc. from our resources and from other vendors. Preparation of quality tenders including accurate costing, technical commentaries, commercial terms and conditions of contract including supporting documentation etc. Appraising clients commercial and contractual conditions and proposing amendments and qualifications and exceptions where necessary to protect the interest of the Company (NEC and\/or FIDIC) Develop new business opportunities by exploring other customers, industries, and markets. Provide Company leadership in liaison with Internal Departments, International Associate Companies, Suppliers and Customers. Development of mitigation plans and the implementation thereof. Compile and present Tender Vet for management approval Ensure that tendered products, installations and delivery align with vendor deliveries and inhouse stipulations. Qualifications Matric B-Eng, B-Tech or National Diploma in Electrical Skills Min 6 years' experience in Electrical post qualification Min 5 years' either strong Mine Winder Electrical background alternatively strong Tendering background Strong verbal and formal writing skills in English Salary\/Package R52,000 - R62,000 CTC Benefits Medical Aid Pension
