Job Description
Your responsibilities will be:
- To lead and organize the sales activities in the region according to agreed targets.
- Be directly responsible for proposal preparation, negotiation and the securing of contracts via End User, OEM and EPC companies within the region with a focus on Oil and Gas and the Mining industry segment, ensuring correct technical and commercial fit.
- Ensure that preparation and submission of customer quotation and order
handling is performed timeously and in accordance with the Control Quality process.
- Lead and effectively manage relevant personnel in the region.
- Identify and correct any relevant issues in the region in order to ensure that region operates effectively.
- Control expenditure within the region in order to ensure that targets are met.
- Participate as a member of the Sub-Saharan Africa management team, participate in local strategy development and management team meetings, in accordance with the management system.
- Provide monthly reporting and forecasting on regional sales activities.
- Maintain and increase local customer satisfaction and grow installed base of products in responsible region.
- Hold and maintain records of Internal meetings as part of management system.
- Ensure that issues of company policy are implemented within the region.
- Ensure the security of information and assets within the region in accordance with company policy and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Matric
- Engineering Degree
Skills
- At least five years'' experience in Sales of Industrial Flow Control product, with 2-3 years of experience in leading a sales team / management experience
- Proven background in sales of Industrial Flow Control products to Industry and EPC companies in Oil and Gas and Mining
- Experience in the field of control valves or flow control systems within the
- Petrochemical and Chemical industries
- Contract negotiation and preparation skills
