Your responsibilities will be:
- Activity and resource planning making a feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organization’s overall business strategy.
- Defining the project’s scope and determining what resources are available, estimating time and financial commitment, as well as how to monitor and report on the project’s progress, identify and manage project dependencies.

- Cost estimating and developing the budget
- Quality and Satisfaction

- Risks and Issues Management
- Stakeholder Management
- Contractual Support contract development and/or negotiation with clients and suppliers.

- Reasonable local and international travel requirement to use knowledge, skills and experience in support of relevant business objectives.
Qualifications
- Matric
- Post Graduate Diploma Project Management (B-Com Project Management) and foundation level certification in either Prince2 or PMBok and ProSCI practitioner (or equivalent certification) is beneficial
Skills
- Project Management experience
- 8 years in logistics environment, supply chain management; including WMS implementation;
- 5+ years experience in managing project teams and experience with regard to managing local & global executive stakeholders
- Warehouse and Operational Management experience
- Experience in developing budgets & managing actual versus budget, including CAPEX, OPEX and P&L’s
- Contractual experience in directly supporting contract and service level development and negotiations with clients and vendors
- Unendorsed license & own transport
- Ability to travel around Gauteng, South Africa & International
- Strong interpersonal skills & able to work in a collaborative & team-based environment
- Project portfolio management software (Clarity, PPO, etc)
- Advanced computer literacy in Ms Office
- Road Logistics, Import and Exports Best Practice: w.r.t. operational processes
- General business acumen and sound knowledge of procurement principles, engineering economics and fundamental accounting principles
- Warehouse Design and Configuration aligned to Best Practices, OHS and Legal Compliance: Extensive knowledge and experience
- Supply Chain Management accreditation such as CSCP, SCOR-P, etc
