Our client has an opportunity available for a Call Centre Agent based in Johannesburg.

Requirements:

Matric.
Ability to speak Afrikaans.
Occupational Health and Safety Compliance qualification.
2 to 4 years’ sales experience in a Call Centre environment.
Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients.
Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently.
Computer literate.
Technical aptitude.
Proven sales track record, trade references and recommendations.
Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities:

Contact existing and prospective clients to upsell health and safety short courses.
Recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs.
Follow up on leads generated from the Sales Consultants and Regional Managers.
Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals
Find potential customers through networking, cold calling and industry research to increase sales.
Actively match the needs of the client with the features and benefits of the product.
Provide clients with relevant product and service information.
Describe products and explain their benefits and uses to potential customers.
Communicate with customers by phone and email to understand their needs.
Achieve monthly sales, compliance and quality targets.
Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s various products and services.
