POSITION INFO:

Van Schaik Online needs a Call Centre Associate who is goal/target driven and possesses a high level of telephone etiquette, communication skills, good interpersonal and administrative skills and can function well under pressure.

Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Handling quotations for individual customers, institutions and libraries,
Handling of Web-based, inbound/outbound telephonic, e-mail, fax and written enquiries
Ordering and receiving of academic and general books
Stock sourcing and supply chain management
Executing and follow up on IBT with branches
Assisting in dispatch with invoicing and capturing waybills
General office administration
Excellent customer service.
Other ad hoc tasks, as and when needed within the VanSchaik.com environment

Requirements:

Senior certificate
Computer literate (MS Office suite) and
Internet user experience (including SmartPhone apps)
Good communication skills and proficient in English and any other official language.
Previous experience working in the call centre will be to your advantage

The successful candidate can expect a competitive package dependent on experience and qualifications, including a medical aid and provident fund.
